The beginning of it all is the vision to proactively design the future of urban commercial drone flights. The ultimate basics are reliability, high alteration and adaptation capabilities, stability and safety above all.

We had no doubt and picked our seasoned DR1100, a highly acclaimed drone that has accumulated hundreds of flight hours everywhere.

Together with our partners at Cando Drones and High Lander, the the vision carefully emerged into a detailed framework and a super complex project.

The deliverable is a unique adapted system. We have synchronized core and components reliably so that we are able to experiment, learn, and continue to build the vision.

We’re ready to deliver literally – let’s do it.

Why on the floor?

“Why on the floor? Put it on the bench and work it out” I told our assembly technician Segev Oved. “it feels different somehow lying on your back and putting all your attention to a delicate calibration” he replied. “Of course, I can lift on the bench and stand upright, but it’s not the same”.

A heavily loaded machine with numerous systems to perform
flawlessly as an orchestra is quite an undertaking – so “do what you need to do” I said.

We deliver it this Thursday. Segev will straighten his
clothes and will the system introduction session with the client.

Keeping your hands warm

Formerly an automotive engineer, Edik Zusin started designing drone platforms 12 years ago following his passion.
Apart from the immense experience he gathered thru these years, Edik can visualize.

An inspiring understanding of what is the requirement of the client and turning it into an optimal drone setup.

Besides seeing the overall picture of the vessel and its components, he also recognizes dozens of factors affecting each other and creates a perfect design.

Picking up the solder on the production line is a sheer delight for Edik. Being competent and sharpening your innovative thinking can only be achieved by keeping your hands busy.

A hide and seek drone

Not really. It’s a test platform assembled very quickly, based on core building bricks we developed. It enables us to super agile design and construct drone platforms that are up and ready for testing, built to spec.

This certainly needs to ascend fast and high and move vertically towards a certain destination. It did, but during maneuvering in high velocity, the video signal was lost as there goes control.

Well, that’s what test platforms are for. Back for some tweaks and here we go again.

Working on your ROI

There's no denying that one of the industry's main focuses is on finding an affordable and feasible solution for urban drone flights. This equation contains many variables, some of which are missing pieces of the puzzle.

The big issue is to design an all-around product that will provide both safety and good ROI for the operational model.

So we’re working on it. It’s still under construction.

Get into sporty mode!

Usually, you use FPV (First Person View) Goggles to fly sport drone racers. The onboard camera of the drone is the only source of vision while the drone is out of your sight. The goggle allows the pilot to perform tight flying reactions while maneuvering a fast and sharp platform.

Here in the picture, our Segev is flying an exceptional drone, built to spec for a client. The system requirements call for the drone to be able to fly and maneuver very quickly with heavy payloads at both ends.

So you need to get into a sporty mode and fly a serious vessel, as if you were in a hobbyist contest.

Payload - king of the drone

The payload is the king of the drone. What we mount on the platform is the purpose of the whole deal and should serve it seamlessly. A DR1200 is equipped with a state-of-the-art CONTROP Precision Technologies Ltd. camera, providing a high-end system for demanding applications.

Apart from extra endurance (carrying weights over time in the most efficient configuration), clients look for stability and reliability. No doubt, performing the mission perfectly under extreme conditions is the first priority. But the responsibility of depositing a sensitive and expensive payload on a reliable platform is also a major consideration.

As can be seen in the picture, the decision has been made – DR1200 it is.

Love your drone

Most of us are taking for granted the reliability of the machines we use. You get into your car, a cup of coffee in one hand, turn the key and the car engine starts.
Drones are complex machines that perform heavy-duty tasks, sometimes in harsh environmental conditions. We design our DRs to prevail no matter what so that clients can take advantage of their full potential.

But hey! Give the DR1200 or any drone you may have some love before and after you squeeze the throttle:
1.     Conduct the pre-flight routine recommended.
2.     Make sure you oversee the vital system parameters during flight.
3.     Awareness – know your drone. When something starts limping you’d know just in time.
4.     TLC – always good for anyone, anytime. Also for drones.

Drone delivery may present an actual benefit in certain circumstances. But you still want a sushi delivery? Why not? go ahead. The DR1200 premier heavy-lifter is well-suited to delivery missions, whether it's extra onion burgers or blood transfusions on the battlefield.

Back in the desert

Returning after a long and tedious week somewhere in the desert, carrying out a complex experimental series of flights and measurements.
The DR1100, extremely stable in strong winds and violent gusts, once more proved itself as a reliable powerhorse. A delicate and expansive payload seamlessly integrated into the drone - and here is a vote of confidence from a client to rely on our trustworthy capabilities.
Slowly and gently the M600 addiction is passing away, and we have a winning successor.
